Transforming raw data into visual information to serve persons of concern by UNHCR

Based in Geneva within the Field Information and Coordination Support Section (FICSS) the Visual Information and Mapping Team (VIM) provides direct support to HQ Geneva staff while supporting UNHCR field operations. This small team has skills in transforming raw data into visual information such as graphs, maps, timelines and composite products such as Infographics and dashboards, which combine various elements to convey a specific message or summarize complex situations. The team is client-oriented and works closely with staff to translate their vision into impactful products.

The VIM team provides creative solutions for a wide variety of visual products throughout UNHCR, including Field Offices.
